Chicago April 18, 2013 – The story to come out of Boston is still in flux, and we are only now putting together the pieces of what happened in the aftermath of that terrible event. It will take much longer to piece together what preceded it. But we now know that within several hours of the attack, law enforcement had named a “person of interest” (an amorphous word that allows media and law enforcement alike to get around calling someone a “suspect” when there is a dearth of evidence against him): a 20-year-old Saudi Arabian student who was here on a student visa. Lest anyone think he was merely profiled for being Saudi Arabian, he was behaving suspiciously, according to witnesses: when the bomb went off, he ran away from it. It did not take long to clear him of any wrongdoing. But first, law enforcement had to ransack his apartment in Revere, Mass., and interrogate his roommate for several hours.
Within 48 hours of the Boston Marathon bombing, two other communities of laymen were conducting their own investigations. The first, Reddit.com, produced 14 threads (each with thousands of comments) over the course of two days. Many of those threads were dedicated to disseminating information about the bombing, and about relief efforts. But some of the comments were directed towards aggregating information, any information, that would become useful in identifying the perpetrator. Soon, the site was inundated with videos and photographs of the scene in the lead-up to the bombing, and in the moments thereafter. When law enforcement revealed that the bomb was likely transported in a black backpack, with silver reflective strips, the pictures were combed for information, in a project dubbed “Where’s Waldo?” by reddit moderators.
Robert Scott Bell talk show host GCN and Natural News has decided to officially endorse Tisha Casida for US Congress in Colorado’s 3rd district. Tisha is running as an independent against two big government establishment candidates. You can learn more about her at Casida2012.com
(Reuters) – The White House plans to ask Congress by the end of the week for an increase in the government’s debt ceiling to allow the United States to pay its bills on time, according to a senior Treasury Department official on Tuesday. ………
Will this proposal once overlooked, be noticed this time?
After celebrating my 30th birthday I trucked myself down to renew my drivers’ license, and much to my surprise, at the empty “take a ticket” dispenser was this sign, which was going to present a problem in renewing my license.
So, what if you don’t have a residential address? Can you drive without a house or apartment? What if you are living in your car? What if you do not have bills that come to your household? What if you lost your home and are trying to find a job, and your car is all you have? Isn’t this unjust? Isn’t this unfair? Isn’t this unconstitutional?!?!?!
I decided to avoid the confrontation last week at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), and thought that I would go online to try and see if I could circumvent the harassment and embarrassment that I technically don’t have a residential address. The website to apply online asks about my credit rating, my marital status, my occupation, and my education. To be honest, why does any of this matter?
Instead of hitting the “SUBMIT” button, I have decided that I will not renew it. After all, it is unconstitutional to require a license to drive. I am a free being with the right to travel around. And, I am not hurting anyone else by doing such. I am not a criminal. Why am I being treated like a criminal?
I am so sick and tired of living in this fear and feeling that I am doing something wrong. I am not doing anything wrong. And, many people who are going to be stopped by this sign pictured above do not deserve to feel like THEY are doing anything wrong. Just because you have hit hard times and have nothing to your name does not make you a criminal. I am not a criminal. And I will not live in fear.
Now, please understand that I understand that it’s not a ‘right’ to drive a car but a ‘privilege’ which is what we are taught when getting our drivers’ licenses. Driver training and knowledge is IMPORTANT and something that our state government should enforce initially in an effort to keep our roadways safe. The real point of this is, that after that, there should be no other restrictions unless you hurt someone else. Things like the DWI check points don’t stop drunks from driving, they are mainly setup as revenue generators to harass lawful drivers while the drunks drive on. Task forces to monitor the general public should stop and the needless information gathering is really about imprisoning law abiding citizens rather than public safety.
We really need to challenge the “law-makers” and enforcers of law more often because we are supposed to have the right to do that. Oh wait, no we don’t! The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) says that if I don’t conform or cooperate I may be detained without a day in court for a possible indefinite amount of time. It’s amazing that we make it so easy for law enforcement to come pick us up because they think I could be doing something wrong. Why are they able to make the call without due process.
America, its time to step up and vote to stop people who are oppressing us. Just in case you have forgotten, they are PUBLIC SERVANTS and WORK FOR US! So, you will get to work with me in the process of educating my law enforcement and community about the constitutionality of a drivers’ license.
And if I get thrown in jail, we will have available for you “FREE TISHA” t-shirts.
Now that US Congress provides “solutions” on a month to month basis with outcomes delayed until the 11th hour and 59th minute, the Treasury funds itself paycheck to paycheck, hedge fund LPs only allow a daily lock up and demand liquidity statistics (as in how much of the entire book can be sold on an hour’s notice), and all that matters is what happens in the next few hours, it is JPM’s turn to raise Q1 GDP… at the expense of future growth. Because nobody really cares about the future anymore: after all following yesterday’s lowering of Q3 GDP, US debt/GDP is now 100.04%. But nobody wants to talk about that because, once again, it’s about the future. And we are having enough issues with the present as is. Here is JPM’s Michael Feroli just hiking his short-term forecast, knowing too well he will eventually have to lower future growth. But that is tomorrow’s, and thus, someone else’s problem. In the meantime, #40dollars sure goes a long way. ………….
I will be there helping the Ron Paul Campaign as well as connecting with other conservative candidates and Independents running for office from around the country. It is a win-win, uniting and brainstorming with many liberty-candidates and activists to win big in the House and Senate, as well as local elections.
Wont you help? Whether you support Ron Paul, Newt or Mitt this is a unique opportunity to meet-up with like-minded people from around the country. I’ll report back what is truly happening ‘on the ground’ in Iowa since the media won’t. I have many Iowa insiders who are helping me get around and talk with several key insiders and the fringe. I will tour family-farms and attend town halls as well as going door-to-door helping campaign for others. We all need to help each other. This will also provide Colorado voters in my district opportunity to see first hand through my eyes what is happening and discuss this during my next trip around my district.
These are desperate but exciting times! I work hard for us! I am your eyes and ears on the battlefield (literally now) for 2012. You just can’t count on the media being fair and balanced. Please help us have a successful trip by donating what you can today!

After she tried to put on a farmer’s market in her hometown of Pueblo, Colorado, Tisha Casida discovered that she had a different set of rules, regulations, licenses, and fees than the city-run farmer’s market. When she contacted her city council, county commissioners, and the city manager about the business and growth-strangling discrepancies and didn’t even get a single reply, Casida had had enough.
Now Tisha Casida is running as an Independent for the U.S. House of Representatives and I recently had the opportunity to talk with her on the phone about it. During our brief interview, I was absolutely captivated by the depth of her enthusiasm, her principled positions, her common sense policy prescriptions, and her eloquence in articulating and defending them.
Here’s what Tisha Casida had to say:

Congress has given the U.S. military a green light to conduct offensive military activities in cyberspace.
“Congress affirms that the Department of Defense has the capability, and upon direction by the President may conduct offensive operations in cyberspace to defend our Nation, allies and interests,” said the FY 2012 defense authorization act that was adopted in conference this week (section 954).
The blanket authorization for offensive cyber operations is conditional on compliance with the law of armed conflict, and the War Powers Resolution, which mandated congressional consultation in decisions to go to war.
“The conferees recognize that because of the evolving nature of cyber warfare, there is a lack of historical precedent for what constitutes traditional military activities in relation to cyber operations and that it is necessary to affirm that such operations may be conducted pursuant to the same policy, principles, and legal regimes that pertain to kinetic capabilities,” the conference report on the defense authorization act said.
Take the cake for liberty!
Dear Friends of Liberty,
Today I’m celebrating my 30th birthday with a big moneybomb. In honor of our great American revolution, I am asking for a donation to support our campaign’s efforts.
My campaign isn’t like the other candidates who seek careers as politicians. My campaign is about restoring the constitutional republic that our revolution was fought for.
And your donation will go a long way to get a liberty candidate into Congress.
If you are in Colorado, I am inviting you to join me at the campaign headquarters today for the fundraiser and for a chance to meet our team and supporters. To RSVP or for more info, please call 719-369-0623.
But I cannot stress enough that this is not a party, but a fight to restore our constitution. Even on my birthday, I won’t be partying. I will continue to only work hard to bring back a sound currency, civil liberties, and a prosperous economy.
