British Government to Track and Record Every Email, Website and Phone Call

The new British government has dusted off a plan that was discarded last December by the old Labour Party government to track every email, phone call and website visit by recording and storing the data.

A central database will not be used but all service providers will be required to store the information for a certain length of time.
